Welcome to Balance
A shared space for movement, mindfulness, and mutual respect.
Our Commitment
We’re committed to providing an environment where everyone feels welcome, respected, and valued.
Code of Conduct
Respect Everyone – Value the diverse backgrounds and identities of those around you. Remember, you may be sharing the space with people from different cultures, experiences, or beliefs. Please steer clear of conversations involving controversial topics. Eg. Politics, Religion & Sport etc.
Create an Inclusive Environment - Kindness and respect are essential.
We have zero tolerance for bullying, harassment, or disruptive behaviour of any kind.
Arrive on Time - Give yourself space to settle in and stretch - if you are running late please quietly join the class without disturbing others.
Mindful Movement - To maintain focus and respect everyone’s practice, please keep private conversations to before and after class. Let’s create a space where everyone can fully tune into their body to create mindful movement.
Switch Off & Tune In - Phones on silent. Be in the present moment.
Respect the Space – Be considerate when using reformers and other equipment. Clean your area and return all props neatly.
Communicate with Your Instructor – Have any injuries or specific needs? Please inform your instructor before class begins. You are responsible for listening to your body—if something doesn’t feel right, stop and let your instructor know.
Together
By following this Code, we all contribute to a positive environment at Balance. Let's work together to keep our studio respectful and welcoming for everyone.
If you feel uncomfortable or notice something concerning, please talk to your instructor or Elyse (the owner). We’re here to listen and will work with you to find a resolution.
